I’m thinking of buying a used copy somewhere because I remember having so much fun with it.ĭotNW was okay but I didn’t like the point-and-click world map. Symphonia was very fun but I only rented it at the time.

When I heard the narration and voice overs I was like “holy crap VA work in a GBA game” and then when I think back to how this was originally on the Super Famicom and that there was VA work on the original it just amazes me as to how technologically advanced the game was for its time. I’ve only played Phantasia, Symphonia, and the sequal to Symphonia. bin that I ripped are technically on my network, but I can only use them on my sister’s laptop because there aren’t any decent PS1 emulators for the Mac that I can find. I can’t really finish it yet because my Playstation emulator and the patched. I’ve played almost to the end of Phantasia, but I have yet to finish it. I never did finish Dawn of the New World, but that’s because I was frustrated with one of the dungeons. Out of the games I own in the series, I have beaten Symphonia once, Abyss several times to the point that I have almost memorized it, Legendia once, and Vesperia twice.

I thought that the music was incredible and that Shiina should compose music for more Tales games, because wouldn’t you agree that Sakuraba needs a break? I guess some people can’t appreciate games that go back to the basics. The story and the characters just hold a special place in my heart, and I didn’t think that the battle system was bad at all.
#Tales of symphonia colette steal series
My favorite in the series is actually Legendia.
